Whole Wheat Biscuits

Ingredients

2 cups whole wheat flour

1 cup all-purpose flour

1 tablespoon baking powder

1 teaspoon salt

6 T unsalted butter, cubed and frozen

1 ¼ cups milk, 1 %

Instructions

In bowl of food processor combine first four ingredients, pulsing a few times to combine. Add butter, then pulse eight to ten times. Add milk and pulse a few more times. Turn dough out onto a well floured surface, folding dough over on itself  until the dough comes together, about eight times. Form the dough into a rectangle about ¾ inch thick. Cut into twelve squares.

Bake @ 450° for 10-12 minutes.
