Pensacola Woman Dies from Flu

Pensacola, Fla. - Kendra Fendt, originally from Pace, Florida died at UAB hospital in Birmingham. 

Family members posted on a Facebook site "Praying for Kendra Fendt", early in November Fendt was hospitalized at Sacred Heart Hospital in Pensacola with influenza and pneumonia. 
With her health declining,  she delivered her baby eight weeks early. Fendt was flown by life flight to UAB hospital in Birmingham shortly after giving birth. She died at UAB hospital January 9th.

The baby named Meredith, a little girl, is healthy and doing fine.

Funeral arrangements have not yet been announced.
