Ryan Reynolds Movie Filming In Mobile

Posted: Updated:
Mobile, AL - Casting directors are looking for extras for the movie “Mississippi Grind.”  The movie stars Ryan Reynolds, Sienna Miller and Ben Mendelsohn.  The news release says they’ll shoot some scenes at the dog track in Mobile and are looking for extras with possible speaking roles.

Extras Casting Assistant Blair Foster says “Mississippi Grind” is a gambling, road trip, buddy movie.  They’re asking for interested people to send a current photo or two to mississippigrindcasting@gmail.com along with your name, age, phone number and e-mail address.

“We’re really excited to get real Mobilians in film,” says Foster.  The scenes will be shot in February and March.  Foster says they’re also shooting scenes in New Orleans and Baton Rouge.  “Mississippi Grind” follows the Nicholas Cage movie “Tokarev” and the Bruce Willis film “The Prince” as the latest motion picture shot in Mobile.
