Man Arrested in Stabbing Case

MOBILE, Alabama - On Friday, December 20, 2013, at approximately 2:20 a.m., officers responded to the front of the Central Events building for a report of one cut.  Upon arrival, officers discovered the male victim, along with two other male victims, with stab wounds.  The assaults were a result of an altercation which started inside of Jaggers Club, 310 Dauphin Street, between the victims and possibly two unknown male subjects.  The three victims were transported to local hospitals for non life-threatening wounds.

On Monday, December 23, Detectives located 21 year old Andrew Byrd.  Following the interview Byrd was arrested for three counts of Assault Second Degree and transported to Metro Jail.
