Meat Boss Recipe: Smoked Turkey and Sweet Dressing
2 Packages Jiffy Corn Muffin Mix
2/3 cup milk
1 large onion
2 T. butter
2 cups chicken stock
2 T. dried sage, ground
Salt to taste
Pepper to taste
½ lb. Conecuh sausage*, sliced (optional)
-Preheat oven to 350°
-Bake corn muffins according to package.
-Crumble muffins, enough for 3 cups of crumbs.
-Add sautéed onions, 2 eggs beaten, chicken stock, 1 T. sage to crumbled muffins.
-Mix together until resembles “grainy pancake batter”. Add sausage* here, if desired.
-Bake in a greased 9 x 9 dish for about 30-45 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean.
*Smoke, grill or bake your sausage before slicing and adding to batter.
Serve with your favorite smoked turkey and gravy!
