Neighbors trying to Tame Runaway Pig

Neighbors trying to Tame Runaway Pig

Posted: Updated:

Many residents in a Tillman's Corner neighborhood are getting a kick over a pig that has taken over the neighborhood.

For the past two weeks residents say they've noticed the pig roaming around and getting into yards.

this one here doesn't seem like wild. Somebody has been taking care of it because i walked up and it would try to walk away from me when i got close to it.” Said Chris Barbour.

And while some people are laughing there are others who are starting to get worried over the runaway pig. And actually the pig isn't really that little, he weighs close to 200 pounds.

“I said I am going to catch him and put him in my backyard and fatten him up on ham from Thanksgiving,” said Bobby Barbour.

People around have called authorities about the pig. Police came out Thursday but they couldn't catch him. However one of the officers said he may know someone who will take the pig home, but so far no one has showed to pick the pig up.
