Taste of Mobile

Taste of Mobile

Posted: Updated:
It's a great event that comes to our area every year, and tonight "Taste of Mobile" celebrated 36 years.
The event showcases restaurants in the area by offering them an opportunity to present their specialty dishes to locals.
Taste of Mobile seems to be great publicity for area restaurants, and it gives a boost to our local economy. News Five caught up with the General Manager of Mugshots Bar and Grill tonight. He says he can't think of a better place to start a new business.

"It's a great town to open a restaurant in. Everybody stays busy. We had record openings when we opened up this one. Always busy. Never slows down."

Proceeds from Taste of Mobile go towards the Goodwill Easter Seals.
News Five's Devon Walsh and John Nodar were on hand to judge the event.
