Teen Driver Hits 3 Wild Hogs In Gulf Shores

GULF SHORES, Alabama -

Wild hogs are causing problems in Gulf Shores.

Storri Knox had a close encounter with three of them Halloween night.

The 16-year old struck and killed three feral hogs on Fort Morgan Road about two miles west of Highway 59.

Police conducted an accident investigation and added it to the department's growing list of wild hog incidents.

Feral hogs have been a problem in Baldwin County and across the U-S for years. According to the Dept. of Agriculture, wild hogs cause more than 80 million in agricultural damage in the U-S each year.

63 of Alabama's 67 counties have reported wild hog problems.
