Murder Victim's Family Searching For Answers

MOBILE, Alabama -

For over a week Kelly Poole has been visiting the spot where her brother died. Not a day goes by where she doesn't think about what happened.

"You're just stuck in a moment of time, like you're just frozen there the minute that you found out," said Poole.

48-year-old Joey O'Brien was shot and killed Wednesday at a post office near downtown on Springhill Avenue. Mobile Police say he was riding his bike when someone shot him then took off with his bike.

"It's like life is going on around me for everybody else and inside me I just want to scream," she says.

So far, police have no suspects in custody. The details surrounding the murder are few and far between.

"I can't imagine that nobody has come forward and said that they saw something. It's just really hard to move forward," she said.

She's hoping police find her brother's killer.

"I don't think it was Joey's time to go. I think the evil who walks this world took Joey before it was time," she said.
