Byrne Picks Up Another Endorsement

Byrne Picks Up Another Endorsement

Posted: Updated:
FOLEY, Alabama -

A political endorsement is an important part of any campaign. Republican Congressional candidate Bradley Byrne now has seven of them.

The U-S Chamber of Commerce officially endorsed Byrne at a press conference in Foley Tuesday.

Foley Mayor John Koniar and Gulf Shores Mayor Robert Craft are also backing Byrne.

Byrne has support from individuals and organizations at the local, state and national levels.

Dean Young has picked up one endorsement- support from a local tea party group.

Even though Alabama Chief Justice Roy Moore has supported Young's bid for Congress, Moore can't officially endorse him because of his position as Chief Justice.

The Republican run-off is November 5th.
