DAPHNE, Ala. -

The 4th Annual Turkey Trot 5k was a big success in Baldwin County.

The race is hosted by the Prodisee Pantry. Runners lace up their shoes each year to trot through downtown Daphne, and it's all for a good cause.

Those who run in both the 5k and the Fun Run help provide Thanksgiving dinner for needy families in Baldwin County. This year's race was the biggest yet. 776 runners signed up between the 5k and the Run Fun.

Because of the success of this year's race, 1,500 families will have a Thanksgiving meal this holiday season.
