Pipeline Hearing May Draw Big Crowd

Pipeline Hearing May Draw Big Crowd

Posted: Updated:

There could be a big turnout this afternoon in downtown Mobile on an oil pipeline hearing.  The same company building an oil pipeline near the city’s water supply wants to get approval for another project in downtown Mobile.  This project would replace an old pipeline that runs from Plains All-American’s riverfront terminal to Myrtle Street.  The public hearing will be held this afternoon from 1pm to 3pm at Government Plaza.

The Public Service Commission normally holds these hearings in Montgomery.  It was moved to Mobile after a request from the Mobile City Council.
