MOBILE, Alabama - Levon Manzie defeated Greg Vaughn Tuesday night in a run-off election for the City's District 2 Council Seat.

The School Board Member picked up 55 percent of the vote to Vaughan's 45 percent. 3,501 people voted in the election.

Manzie will replace William Carroll who did not run in the Election. Manzie says he will step down from his post on the Mobile County
