Video Captures Teacher/Student Fight

SEMMES, ALABAMA -

17 year-old Adam Kiker was slammed into a wall Friday morning by his teacher at Mary G. Montgomery High School.

"As I was going to get up he rushed me, like awkwardly, and he pushed me against the wall," said Kiker.

The MGM Senior admits he's not innocent. The two were arguing when things quickly turned physical. He says the teacher put his hands on hime first, so he reacted.

"I came up and I slapped his glasses off his face and then when I did that he grabbed me by my face and he pushed my head back into the window and whenever he did that I just lost it. I grabbed him by his shirt and I drove him around the room and threw him over a desk," said Kiker.

The video doesn't show was led up to the fight, but you can clearly see the student and teacher wrestling across the room.

"A fight occurred, kind of a pushing and shoving between the teacher and the student. The teacher was telling the student to do his work and it was just a fight between the two. I don't know if I'd call it a fight, but it was a pushing and shoving match," said Nancy Pierce with Mobile County Public Schools.

Pierce says the video is now part of the investigation. The teacher was removed from campus and the student was sent home with his mom.

"I was shocked that he actually grabbed my face and did it, but I didn't feel any pain. My head doesn't hurt and it's not bruised on my head. He grabbed my face hard, he just really grabbed me hard," said the student.
