Shooting Victim Out Of Hospital

JaLonna law says once she gets better and the cast comes off, she's going to find a new place to live.

She hasn't been back to her home on Prichard Avenue.  Law says this is where her car was surrounded by five masked men who demanded she and her friend get out.  When her friend tried to drive away she was shot in the back and ended up recovering for a week at USA Medical Center.  Today the bullet went through her back--exited her chest and is still lodged today in her left arm.

“I feel very lucky and very blessed behind this,” says Law.  She says the attack has left her both angry cautious.

“The anger comes from I guess from how the incident happened and the fact I still haven't spoken to any officer since the incident happened,” says Law.  Law says her mom has to help her with everything for the time being including helping take care of her two children.  She says she already has a new home picked out for when she's well enough to move.
