Horse Trainer Arrested On Child Sex Charges

ELSANOR, ALABAMA -

Tucker's Horse Ranch in Elsanor is closed and the front gate is locked. On Saturday Baldwin County Sheriff Deputies arrested the owner, Thomas Tucker on 5 counts of second degree sexual abuse of a child.

"It's just sad to know that this stuff is being said about this man," said a neighbor, who believes Tucker is innocent.

Within the last week four families have come forward accusing Tucker of touching their children inappropriately. Children frequently spend the night at Tucker's Horse Ranch while learning how to ride horses. Neighbors describe the ranch as a camp.

Authorities say some have accused Tucker of video-taping the children while they were showering.

"I practically lived down there until I turned 18 and got married. I was down there every day," said a neighbor who also believes Tucker is innocent.

"I'm 23 now and when I was young I always rode horses down at his house. I never felt threatened by him. He was always a loving man," said a former customer.

Authorities tell News 5 they found several items of evidence in the home, but they wouldn't go into detail.

Tucker is being held without bond at the Baldwin County Jail.
