Federal Judge Rules Against Plains Southcap

A federal judge rules Plains Southcap has not made its case against the city of Semmes.  Specifically Judge William Steele found Plains had not convinced him Semmes stop work order was based on an invalid ordinance.

For now it appears the stop work order stands.  Plains Southcap has said the delay is costing the company $124,000 a day.  Plains is building a controversial crude oil pipeline through Mobile’s watershed.  You can read the ruling here.
