Chicken Gumbo

1 lb Chicken

1 lb Sausage

1 lb Diced Tomatoes

1 lb Okra

½ lb Diced Onions

2 Teaspoons of Tabasco

12 oz can of Rotel

1 Teaspoon of Gumbo File’

1 Tbls Seasoned Salt

1 ½ Tbls Creole Seasoning

1 Tbls Chicken Base

1 Tbls of Kitchen Bouquet

3 Tbls of Corn Starch

4 quarts of Water

Mix water, Diced Tomatoes, Onions, Rotel Tomatoes, in a pot and bring to a boil.  Add chicken, sausage.  Measure in the Tabasco, Gumbo File, Seasoned Salt, Creole seasoning, and the Chicken Base.  Then add the okra.  Bring to a boil and cook for 18 minutes.  Mix in the Cornstarch to thicken, and Kitchen Bouquet to give it a darker color.  Serve over rice.
