Man wins Kicking Contest, Car at Bama Game

Posted: Updated:
MOBILE, Alabama -

A local man from Mobile had a really good weekend. Not only did he score tickets the Alabama game, but he left the owner of a new car.

Mitchell Crigler got into a field goal kicking contest all he had to do was kick it further than any other contestant and he nailed it 55 yards out.

“I am not really any good I just happened to be at the right place at the right time and it worked out pretty good,” said Crigler.

His powerful leg won him the keys to a 2014 Kia Sorrento. Taxes and all he says plans to keep it.

Crigler won't get the car for about another month and despite how much game tickets are going for he thinks he made out pretty well on his trip to Atlanta.
