ALABAMA -

Everybody loves to win, and if you like college football...it sure feels good to be a part of The Bama Nation.  "I think football and athletics in general..is the front porch to The University of Alabama, said University President, Dr. Judy Bonner in an exclusive interview with WKRG News 5.

Coach Nick Saban has led The Crimson Tide to three national championships in four years.  He's poised to make history with a three peat if Alabama can pull off a third national championship in a row...making him very valuable to The University of Alabama.

"Coach Saban is doing an outstanding job, and he certainly has my full support", said Dr. Bonner who may be one of the coach's greatest champions.  Saban is college football's highest paid coach to the tune of more than 5 million dollars.  However, Dr. Bonner says he's more than a coach.  He helps develop players into young men.  "Coach Saban takes a personal interest in his players.  He makes certain that they go to class and that they graduate", said Dr. Bonner.

As far as a hard prediction for this football season., "Well, let me tell you..I have full confidence in coach Nick Saban", said Dr. Bonner.

Alabama plays it's first game of the season Saturday at 4:30 in Atlanta against Virginia Tech.
Mobile's AJ McCarron, Daphne's TJ Yeldon, and Theodore's CJ Mosley will be leading the tide again this year.
