2 Murder Suspects Arrested

MOBILE, Alabama -

Two murder suspects walk out of police headquarters Sunday morning in handcuffs. Detectives say the pair are responsible for shooting and killing 24 year-old Brandon Jackson at his uncle's home in midtown last week.

Here's a conversation between News 5's Blake Brown and one of the suspects, Evan Morris, as he walked out of police headquarters:

"Did you know brandon?," asked Blake.

"No," said Morris.

"You didn't know him?," Blake asked.

"Nope," he said.

"Why'd you do this?," he asked.

"Do what?," replied the suspect.

"Why'd you kill him?," asked Blake.

" I didn't," he said.

But police aren't buying that story. In fact, the victim's relatives say they've seen Morris in the area before.

Mobile Police also arrested Carl Cromwell. He tells News 5 that he's also innocent, but that he knew the suspect.

Family members tell News 5 that detectives are looking for a possible third suspect in the case, but police had no comment. They say the investigation is ongoing.
