MPD Investigating Homicide on Airport Blvd Service Road

MOBILE, Ala. -

Mobile Police have arrested a man they say was involved in a homicide that happened at an abandoned hotel on the Airport Boulevard Service Road.

On Sunday, July 28, around 1:30 a.m., police responded to a report of one down at 3650 Airport Boulevard Service Road in Mobile.

Officers found 52-year-old Victor Kirby suffering from blunt-force trauma wounds.

Investigation revealed 38 year-old Edward Charles Condart as the suspect in this crime. Condart was located and arrested for Murder in this case. 

Mobile Fire Rescue responded and the victim was pronounced dead on the scene.

Mobile Homicide Detectives will continue to investigate the incident. Anyone with information is asked to call Mobile Police at (251) 208-7211.
