MPD Searching for Carjacking Suspects

MOBILE, Ala. -

Mobile Police need the public's help in trying to find two carjacking suspects.

Police say on July 7, around 12:30 a.m., two men carjacked a car on Orleans Street.

According to police, the first male suspect approached the victim with a handgun and demanded the victim's property. A second male suspect then approached the victim and told him to get out of the vehicle.

Both subjects entered the vehicle and were last seen turning north on Midtown Park West.

The first suspect is described as a black male, 6'2-6'3, weighing 180 pounds, around 23 years old, with short dreadlocks, and was wearing a black t-shirt.

The second suspect is described as a black male, 5-8, weighing 160 pounds, around 23 years old, with dark skin, low cut hair, and was also wearing a black t-shirt.

The stolen vehicle was a 1993 Chevrolet Caprice, baby blue in color, 4 doors, large Chevy symbol on the back window, no tint, stock rims.
