A 100+ year old oak tree crashed onto a mail carrier's van Saturday morning around 10 a.m.
Neighbors on Blacklawn Street tell News 5 the tree must've fallen due to the heavy rains we've had this week.
Luckily the postal worker wasn't in the van when the tree fell. He was delivering mail to home across the neighborhood when the tree came crashing down.
A second vehicle was brought to the neighborhood to pickup the worker so he could complete his routes.
Shopping for back to school clothes will be a little more exciting for high school students in Baldwin County this year.
