Panama City Beach -

Alexis Fairchild and Sidney Good suffered multiple broken bones and head trauma from Monday's horrific parasailing accident in Panama City Beach, Florida.  The rope attached to the boat pulling them broke and high winds slammed them into a building and they crashed into a parking lot.

Both 17 year olds underwent brain surgery Monday night and are showing signs of improvement.  With help, Fairchild was able to walk Thursday.  "When she was waling on her therapy, she was walking past Sidney's room and was able to walk in and you know say 'hi', hold her hand.  Sidney was able to raise her hand, you know it was a great moment", said Michael Fairchild, Alexis' Father.

Sidney has a broken neck and is still in critical condition..though she is able to open her eyes, and communicates with nods and gestures.

Alexis was on vacation with the Good family when the accident happened.
