County officials are trying to quickly find a solution to a plan to build a pipeline running through Mobile's watershed.
A team of Mobile County representatives met this morning with Plains Southcap, the company building the pipeline. They met for more than four hours at government plaza.
They walked out with no concrete solution but, officials say the meeting was productive.
"I would describe them as being amenable to our concerns of the issues that they had and they had a willingness to try to work out a solution," said County Commissioner Connie Hudson.
Officials say they're waiting on a safety report being commissioned by MAWSS before reaching an agreement with Plains Southcap.
They hope to have something worked out in the next couple of weeks.
