Here is a list of local July 4th events along the Gulf Coast.

Grand Bay Convalescent Home

Citronelle will be having fireworks at dusk over the City Lake

 

Dauphin Island

Public Beach

9:00 PM

This will provide for a great vantage point from throughout the island or from a boat. 

 

City of Mobile

The City of Mobile will celebrate the July 4th celebration with its annual fireworks display at Battleship Park featuring the Mobile Pops. The fireworks display will start at 9:00 PM with the Pops beginning at 7:00 PM.

Battleship Park opens at 8:00 am. Field Parking will open at 4:00 PM. The cost to park will be $2.00 before 5 PM and $5.00 after. Once inside the Park, concession and restroom facilities will be available. No grills or alcoholic beverages are allowed.

 

Daphne- Daphne's Jubilee Independence Day Fireworks Display at Trione Sports Park.

Annual fireworks display. Bring lawn chairs or blankets. 251-621-8222. www.daphneal.com. Free.

 

Fairhope- Fourth of July Festival and Fireworks Display at Henry George Park and Fairhope Municipal Pier.

The Baldwin Pops Band Independence Day Concert begins at 7:30 p.m. with a variety of patriotic music before and after the fireworks display. The fireworks display will begin at 9 p.m. 251-929-1466. www.cofairhope.com. Free.

 

Gulf Shores- Independence Day Fireworks at Gulf Shores Public Beach.

Fireworks shot over the beach and accompanied by special patriotic music broadcast on Sunny 105.7FM radio. 9 p.m. 251-968.1172. www.gulfshores.com. Free.

 

Theodore- Grand Bay Watermelon Festival at Odd Fellow Park on Hwy. 90.

Family fun day with arts and crafts, entertainment, children's activities and all you can eat watermelon. Festivities begin at 8 a.m. 251-367-8646. Free.

 

Prichard -July 4th-at High Pointe Park, the celebration will conclude July 4 with a tailgate cook-off from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. followed by a fireworks show at 8:30 p.m.

 

On July 3rd The City of Semmes will hold its "Celebration of Freedom" event.  That starts at 4:30 PM at Mary G Montgomery High School.  There will be crafts, live music and a fireworks display.
