Pressed Cuban Sandwich
For 4 sandwiches…
1 loaf French bread, cut in 4 equal portions and sliced horizontally
½ pound sliced ham
½ pound sliced pork loin
4 slices of Swiss cheese
Your favorite mustard
Melted or room temperature butter
Spread mustard on all 8 halves of bread.
Then layer the ham, pork, Swiss, and pickles on the four bottoms.
Top each with the other piece of bread.
Butter each side of your sandwiches then cook in a Panini press or hot skillet, pressing down hard on each sandwich and cooking on both sides until cheese is melted and the bread is toasted and crispy. Cut on a bias and serve hot.
