Car Man Takes Crime Fight To The Radio

Car Man Takes Crime Fight To The Radio

Posted: Updated:

Keith Kingan shows me where this trailer used to be.  Inside was a 12-year-old four wheeler.  On the night of May 4th someone swiped the trailer with the ATV inside from his car lot and hopped a cable gate lock.

"I feel like I've been abused, used and abused, it's gotten personal with me, very personal," says Keith Kingan.  So Kingan took his frustrations to the radio and cut a spot for FM Talk 106.5.  In it he says in part:  "I'll pay $500 each for the trailer and four wheeler returned to me in good condition, I‘ll pay $1000 for the arrest and conviction of the pond scum that stole them."  He says the theft felt like a slap in the face.

"I put the ad on the radio because I think people can help each other throughout the city, anywhere, if you see something wrong say something call 911," says Kingan.  He says he's never had a car stolen from his business--just petty vandalism up until now.  He says he could get new stuff--but he has too many memories wrapped up in his trailer and four wheeler and just wants his property back.
