Families Celebrate their Mothers at Wintzell's Oyster House

MOBILE, Ala. -

Mother's Day is a time for kids of all ages to thank their moms for all of their sacrifices and hard work over the years.

This year at Wintzell's Oyster House in downtown Mobile, it didn't take long to spot the guest of honor at each table... mom.

She's really nice. She's the best mom in the world. She cleans, she cooks, and she's my mom. That's one of the best things she's good at being. She brings me to baseball games and football games," said Hunter Hughes.

No matter how young or old these kids are, their message about their mom was always the same.

"She raised me. She's the greatest mother in the world, she's selfless, she'll give me the shirt off her back, and just a great role model," said Patrick Sprague.

His mother, Patricia said she loves being a mom.

"I suppose as a mother it's nice to have a day that honors all mothers, and I've enjoyed being a mother, I've been blessed with 2 wonderful children."

Being a mom is a job 24/7, 365 days a year, but most will tell you it's the best job in the world.
