On Wednesday South Alabama will have their final Honor Flight, taking World War II veterans up to Washington DC.
In the 5 years they have been doing this, organizers have made a commitment to taking any World War II veteran who wants to go from where ever they are from.
This year one man is coming all the way from Oregon to take part. Sgt. Bill Audrain was welcomed to Mobile Monday night by USS Alabama Crewmates and the Patriot Guard Riders.
All of the American heroes on the honor flight leave early Wednesday, but the public is invited to welcome them back at the airport later that evening.
You can start arriving around 7 p.m. Wednesday.
