Congressman Jo Bonner Holds Town Meetings

Brewton, AL -

Congressman Jo Bonner is in the middle of a whirlwind, three-day, 14 town meeting blitz in SW Alabama- we caught up with him at a meeting in Brewton Wednesday.

A small, but animated crowd gathered at Brewton City Hall to talk to Rep. Bonner.

Bonner listened as taxpayers voiced their concerns about the future of education, out of control government spending and Washington's inability to save money or make effective cuts.

Although not discussed at length in Brewton this morning, Congressman Bonner says immigration reform and gun control have been hot topics at previous town meetings.

Bonner concludes his town meeting tour Thursday with meetings in Spanish Fort, Loxley, Magnolia Springs and Gulf Shores.
