Bombing Terrorist Suspect Captured Alive

Posted: Updated:

Cheers from Bostonians tonight as word came that police accomplished what they set out to do, arrest suspect number two in the Boston marathon bombing, 19 year old Dzhokhar Tsarnaev.

A homeowner noticed a torn tarp covering the boat in his backyard.  He saw blood and called police.   Officers surrounded the boat and exchanged gunfire with the suspect.  The officers retreated and called an FBI special tactical team which moved in and made the arrest.

The long intense manhunt paralyzed the city of Boston. All mass transit shut down and citizens were told to shelter in place all day while heavily armed officers went door to door searching for the accused terrorist.

The suspect's older brother, 26 year Tamerlan died in a rolling gunfight overnight with police.  Dzhokhar escaped with injuries possibly to his leg and neck. His wounds don't compare to the horror the brothers are accused of inflicting on the city. However tonight, the people of Boston have reason to rest easier.
