UPDATE:News 5 spoke with the Mobile County Sheriff's Department about the arrest of Christopher Collier, Spencer Collier's son.

The Sheriff's office says they received an anonymous tip Collier was involved in selling Oxycodine back in October.

An investigation was launched which led to the arrest.  He is charged with four counts of distribution of a controlled substance.

Christopher Collier was arrested by the Mobile County Sheriff's office and booked into Metro Jail just before 9:00am on Friday. He bonded out a short time later.

Earlier this month, Spencer Collier was promoted from Homeland Security Director to Secretary of Law Enforcement.
