Horrific Images From Boston Marathon Bombing

Boston, MA -

A terror attack has killed two people at the Boston Marathon.

Two bombs exploded Monday afternoon, leaving as many as 100 others injured.

Police detonated a third bomb, they also have a fourth bomb that did not detonate.

What is normally a day of accomplishment and pride quickly turned into the bloodiest day of 2013 so far, as two explosions erupt near the finish line at the Boston Marathon.

Spectators, once cheering on loved ones, suddenly were found under rubble, being helped by paramedics. Blood, staining the running suits of the participants.

From the video, you can see victims being carried away on stretchers. Marathon workers and volunteers rushing to the aid of those injured as hospitals in the area go on disaster alert. Reports say the explosions were bombs and were likely placed in trash cans near the route.

Men, women and children were wounded, the windows of a nearby hotel blown out and you can imagine most of the injuries were from flying shrapnel, with reports of traumatic amputation surfacing among the injured.
