Time is ticking and last minute preparations are underway.

April this year it's the 15th which happens to be tomorrow, Monday," said Bryant Ellis who works for H&R Block.

Tax experts have been fielding calls throughout the day on Sunday. Dozens of people are under the impression that they have a couple of more days to file which is not the case.

Tomorrow the Gulf Shores location on Fort Morgan Road will be bringing in an additional 5 employees to help with those last minute filings.

"The weather has impacted us and we're not taking appointments because of that. It'll be first come first serve," said Ellis.

The deadline for electronic filing is at 11:59 p.m. Monday. Of course, if you plan to file your taxes by mail you'll need to get to your post office a lot sooner.
