More than a thousand Blue Angels fans waited in line for more than an hour to meet the team and grab a few autographs at what was likely the last pilot "meet and greet" until summer.
The Blue Angels cancelled all remaining practices this week at N.A.S. Pensacola. News 5 has also learned at least 10 air shows have been called off- three shows in April, four in May and one in June, July and September.
No word yet on whether sequestration will affect the July air show over Pensacola Beach.
Earlier this year, the Department of Defense ordered the Navy to cut four billion dollars.
Cancelling Blue Angels shows over the next six months will save 20 million dollars.
