Mobile Police Investigate a Homicide on Espejo Street

MOBILE, Ala. -

Mobile Police are investigating a homicide that took place Wednesday morning.

Police responded to Espejo Street for a report of one male who had been shot. His name was Gregory Davis Jr. and he was 22 years old.

Mobile Fire Rescue responded and transported Davis to the hospital where he later died from his injuries.

Officers were able to detain 22 year-old Donald Lockett on the scene, and after investigating the incident, detectives have determined that Lockett is responsible for the death of Gregory Davis and have charged him with Murder. 

Homicide Detectives will continue the investigation.  If anyone has information about the incident, please call the Mobile Police Department at 208-7211.
