UPDATE: The victim has been identified as 31 year-old
Robert Andrew Roberts.
Police are investigating the 4th homicide of the year. Wednesday night, officers were called to the Baymont Hotel on the I-65 Service Road for a report of a male shot. Upon arrival, officers discovered a 31 year-old male had been shot after an altercation with unidentified subjects. The victim was pronounced dead on scene.
Homicide Detectives will continue the investigation. If anyone has information about the incident, please call the Mobile Police Department at (251) 208-7211.
