Record Start and Wonderful Weather

Record Start and Wonderful Weather

MOBILE, Alabama -
A mild morning leads to another wonderful July day. We started this morning in the 60s--Mobile's low of 66 broke a record from 1994.  If you're going to break low temperature records, July is a good time to do it!  Lots of sunshine will warm us to 89 degrees. Low humidity will make it feel more comfortable.
We'll enjoy another unseasonably cool night tonight with a low of 68 and mostly clear skies.
Add a few clouds, some humidity, and a slight chance of showers tomorrow. For Friday and the weekend our weather will be more like what you'd expect for a Gulf Coast summer day: partly cloudy, warm, and humid, with a 30-40% chance of scattered afternoon and evening thunderstorms. Highs near 90 each day, with lows warming to the low 70s.
An area of clouds and low pressure in the mid-Atlantic could become a tropical depression today or tomorrow. The Gulf and Caribbean waters remain quiet.
