NEW ORLEANS (AP) - Tyreke Evans scored a career-high 41 points to go with nine rebounds, eight assists and three steals, and the New Orleans Pelicans snapped an eight-game skid by shocking the playoff-bound Thunder 101-89 Monday night. Evans made 14 of 26 shots while scoring mostly on quick, powerful bursts to the hoop.

NEW ORLEANS (AP) - The Zurich Classic of New Orleans will feature a host of international players. As of Monday, 37 players from 14 countries have committed to the tournament, which runs April 21-27. WDSU-TV reports the field is led by British Open champ Ernie Els and Jonas Blixt, who tied for second in this year's Masters.

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) - Arkansas-Little Rock is set to host Louisiana Tech in college baseball in Little Rock. The Trojans and Bulldogs are to play at Gary Hogan Field starting at 6 p.m. Tuesday. UALR is 13-20 on the season and 3-12 in the Sun Belt Conference while Louisiana Tech is 10-23 overall and 4-14 in Conference USA.

CONCORD, N.C. (AP) - NASCAR team owner Gene Haas says he plans to field an American-based Formula One racing series team within the next two years. The team will be called Haas Formula, he said Monday at a news conference.
