Tyler Stovall allowed just three hits and one run in seven innings of pitching to help lead Hokes Bluff to a five-to-one win over Washington County in the first game of the Class Three-A finals this afternoon. Hokes Bluff started the game strong getting four of its runs in the first inning but then remained scoreless until the sixth inning, when the final run was scored. Washington County's Kyle Dees scored the team's only run in the third inning. Drake Warr took the loss for Washington County, allowing nine hits and five runs in six innings of pitching. The two teams meet again in the second game of the two-of-three series tomorrow at four p.m.
