The future is now for college football programs. High School recruits will sign national letters of intent Wednesday. It will be busy day in our area with a record number of players expected to sign division one scholarships. For many of the players and coaches, Wednesday can't come soon enough.

Sunday, McGill-Toolen's Sidell Corley, one of the top defensive linemen in the country, announced he'll play for LSU. McGill teammate Phelon Jones, a blue-chip defensive back, is also LSU bound. Their verbal commitment stops the flow of big-time college coaches who've been seeking their services
