Taylor White allowed only three hits and no runs in six innings of pitching to help lead Leroy to an eight-to-nothing win over Hatton in the first game of the Class Two-A finals Tuesday evening. Neither team scored in the first two innings, but Leroy got two runs in the third and sealed its victory with six additional runs in the fourth. Phillip Ervin had two runs in Leroy's win, and six other players had one run apiece. Brittian Schultz didn't allow a single hit in one inning of pitching. Will Nichols took the loss for Hatton, allowing eight runs on seven hits in four innings of pitching. The two teams meet for the second game of the series tomorrow at four p.m. Millry lost a doubleheader to Hackleburg. The Wildcats dropped game one 4-2 and lost game two, 11-1. Hackleburg wins the 1a title.
