South Alabama has signed to play a four-game
football series with Navy.
The first game of the home-and-home series is scheduled for 2013
in Annapolis, Md. That's the first year the Jaguars will be
competing in the Football Bowls Subdivision.
South Alabama athletic director Joe Gottfried said the
Midshipmen will visit Ladd-Peebles Stadium in 2014 and 2016.
The Jaguars field their first team in 2009 and later join the
Sun Belt Conference.
