Former Alabama forward Gerald Wallace will become an unrestricted free agent Sunday with the NBA's Charlotte Bobcats. The Bobcats decided not to extend his contract for another season. Wallace led Charlotte in scoring last season with 18 points a game. His agent says the Childesburg native will explore all options. Wallace made just over 5-point-5 (M) million dollars last season. He will likely command at least 10 (M) million a season under a new contract that could run as long as six years. Wallace turns 25 next month. He said at the end of the season that he wanted to stay in Charlotte.
