Demetric Bennett's dream of playing professional basketball came to a reality Thursday... sort of. Former Jags signs with team from Poland

The former South Alabama standout has signed with the Energa Czarni Slupsk in Poland.
Bennett, who signed a 10-month, guranteed contract, was hoping to land a spot on the NBA's, Atlanta Hawks... after playing six games for on the Hawks summer league team.
In his final summer league game... he played 34 minutes, scoring 30 points vs Golden State.
Bennett averaged nearly 20 points last season with the Jags.
