The BayBears have won all three games they have played in Huntsville, including Wednesday afternoon's 6-5 win over the Stars. Mobile scored three times in the top of the eighth inning with two outs, on an RBI double by Carlos Gonzalez and a two-run single by Jarred Ball. Earlier in the game, Mobile scored three times in the third. The rally consisted of RBI hits by Ball and Ronnie Merrill, and an error by Huntsville shortstop Guilder Rodriguez. Mark Rosen (2-0) was the winning pitcher for Mobile, pitching a scoreless 1.1 innings. After a scoreless eighth inning by A.J. Shappi, Dustin Glant picked up his fourth save of the season. Huntsville had Mel Stocker at third base in the ninth inning representing the tying run, but a groundout by Yohannis Perez and a strikeout of Lou Palmisano ended the game. The BayBears (16-17) try for a .500 record Thursday night at 7:05 PM. Matt Green (3-1) starts for the BayBears against Huntsville's Steve Hammond (2-4).
