Alabama forward Jermareo Davidson said he was surprised when the Golden State Warriors drafted him in the second round of last night's N-B-A draft. But minutes later, he became a Charlotte Bobcat. The 6-foot-11 Davidson was chosen 36th overall. Despite a difficult senior year, he averaged 14 points and 8 rebounds last season even while enduring the deaths of his girlfriend and brother days apart. The 22-year-old Davidson is the first Crimson Tide player drafted since Mo Williams in 2003.
