Mark Gottfried has gone through a lot in his 9 season at Alabama, but nothing like last year.
Injuries to Ronald Steel and several other key players, was just one of many pitfalls to a sub-par year.
The Mobile native hopes that 2007 can be a bounce back year. He was back in town Thursday for an All-Alabama golf outing.
Coach has been in Brazil with the USA National under 19 squad who posted a 3 and 2 record in competition.
Coach told me that he, along with his players, learned from the embarrasing 2006 year.
